Clean filters are important in keeping your water crystal clear and healthy, along with protecting your spa equipment.

These are the best 2 products available for cleaning your filters:

1. SpaEase Instant Cartridge Cleaner: Removes surface debris, oils, minerals, and scale from your filter cartridge. This is an effective product to use but should not replace a thorough deep cleaning with SpaEase Filter Cleaner.

TO USE: Simply spray it on the cartridge, wait 3 to 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly with a garden hose and replace

RECOMMENDATION: For more effective cleaning deep within the pleats of the filter it is best to use a product like the Spa Wand.

2. SpaEase Filter Cleaner: This deep soaking product is designed to help remove all the body oils, grease, soap film, minerals, scale, etc. that may have been captured by your filter cartridge. Filter cartridges should be deep cleaned every time the spa water is changed, more frequently for those who use their spa every day with more than 1 user. TO USE: Mix 8 oz. for every 1.25 gallons of water (5 gallon bucket requires 32 oz.) in a bucket large enough to fully immerse your filter(s) cartridges in the solution. Always add SpaEase Filter Cleaner to water, never add water to Filter Cleaner. Before placing the cartridges into the solution rinse off any loose debris. Allow filter cartridges to soak for 8 to 10 hours. Then remove cartridges, rinse thoroughly and allow them to fully air dry. For maximum filter efficiency, do not replace wet cartridges into the spa.

RECOMMENDATION: Because it is important to allow filter cartridges to dry before replacing them into the spa it is recommended to always have a clean spare on hand. Having an additional filter allows you to rotate them within the cleaning cycle benefiting you three ways; 1. Allows you to use the spa during the time you are cleaning the filter cartridges.

2. Extends the life of both filters saving you money over time.

3. Helps ensure cleaner water.

RECOMMENDED FREQUENCY OF CLEANING: Depending upon how often you use your hot tub along with the average number of bathers we make two alternative recommendations;

MODERATE USE: (2-3 times per/week with 1-2 bathers)

• Use SpaEase Instant Cartridge Cleaner every 1 to 2 weeks

• Use SpaEase Filter Cleaner every 3 to 4 months (when draining & refilling your spa)

HEAVY USE: (5-7 times per/week with 2-4 bathers)
